Crafting an elegant pink wedding look that did not scream ultra feminine or super modern took a delicate balance of romantic and classic details while adding an element of surprise. For our wedding, the vision was la vie en rose – seeing life through rose colored glasses – meets the oceanfront.
The invites had hints of pink, blue and gold, while the table decor was pink through and through. Everything blended just the way that I hoped it would against the Islamorada, Florida (Florida Keys) ocean water. Finding the perfect wedding dress is so special. I fell in love with this pink Marchesa gown and knew that I had to wear it. The dress ended up being the inspiration for all of the wedding.
My hope for the table was that it would feel elegant, classic, sophisticated, yet comfortable. We blended a rustic farm table, french country chairs, with vintage pink glassware, brass candlestick holders and deep dusty rose candles.
